Who is GNK Festival for?
The Groove n’ Kizomba Festival is an international dance and cultural event hosted in Laval, welcoming participants from around the world for five days of workshops, performances, networking, and vibrant social events. Combining artistic excellence with cultural tourism and professional exchange, GNK positions Laval as a key destination for international dance, creativity, and business tourism.

Will there be virtual access or recordings?
Everything happens in person. Participants are welcome to record demos during workshops or special moments during the festival.
Will there be food?
Food will be available throughout the festival. Participants can enjoy on-site hotel restaurants, room service at the Sheraton Laval, and a wide variety of dining options at Carrefour Laval food court, located just steps away from the venue.
How much is the price of the ticket?
Ticket prices range from $150 CAD to $450 CAD, depending on the pass type and experience selected.
Do I need a specific dance level to participate in the workshops?
No. The workshops are designed for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Participants can choose classes that best match their experience and goals.
What type of workshops will be held at the festival?
The Groove n’ Kizomba Festival will offer a wide range of dance workshops designed for all levels, including: Kizomba Urban Kiz Semba Konpa Tarraxo Afro Tarraxinha Musicality & connection Technique, styling & partner work Footwork and body movement Workshops will be led by international and local instructors, allowing participants to explore different styles, improve their skills, and deepen their understanding of Afro-urban dance culture.
What activities will take place in addition to the dance workshops?
In addition to dance workshops, the festival offers a diverse program including themed evening events, international DJ performances, artist showcases, professional networking opportunities, and cultural exchange activities.
